Wheel Balancing
If the steering vibrates above a certain speed, this may be a sign that the wheels are not balanced properly! If you continue to drive when the wheels are unbalanced, this can not only be annoying when you drive, but may affect the performance of the vehicle.
Not having your wheels balanced correctly usually causes a vibration in the steering wheel and dashboard which will eventually cause premature tyre wear and can cause damage to suspension parts.
Kerr’s Tyres use the latest digital balancing equipment which have the latest technology to balance wheels. When you purchase new tyres from us, we recommend that you check the balance on your wheels, due to the small inconsistencies in the rubber compound that new tyres have.
You should also have your wheels checked or re-balanced after an impact with a kerb or pothole.
